SUNGYONG JOO received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Dong-A University, Pusan, South Korea, in 2002, and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Pusan National University, Pusan, South Korea, in 2004. He is currently a principal engineer with Samsung Electronics, Suwon, South Korea. His research interests AC/DC, DC/DC, LED Driver, Energy Harvesting, and Failure Mode Analysis. He is a member of KIPE and has several patents in related fields. In Sept. 2025, he will be enrolled in the doctoral program at the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Gyeongsang National University.
YUN-SIK JANG graduated from Gyeongsang National University with a B.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering in Feb. 2025 and is currently enrolled in the M.S. course in Mechatronics at the same graduate school. His research interests include power electronics, including design, control, and reliability analysis of UAM, various power conversion systems for electric vehicles, and MVDC systems. He is a member of KIPE, KIEE and IEEE.
