Serving A Child 3 Meals A Day for Proper Growth

A child is recommended to have 3 regular meals a day and can have breaks with appropriate snacks. We must keep in mind that children will also need to have a variety of fruits, regular water intake as they play during several intervals. 

Every child has a right to grow with a healthy mind and, healthy body. They have to be happy and strong regularly, making their dreams bigger. Children have aims, goals, and wishes that we need to make a reality. They need a consistent nutritional diet for good and proper growth.

Let us give the children a chance to have their favorite meals, food, fruits and vegetables of their choice. They need protein, energy and strength-giving meals for their well-being. Feeding the Hungry Project endures to work with caregivers, child minders, and volunteers who help to support their growth and health energy needs fulfilled.

Children are dying of hunger, starvation and malnutrition, the communities lack resources to cater for those in need, and it is time for all of us to stand up and take action. 

Globally, food insecurity, hunger and malnutrition in children are mainly termed as leading to their well-being. Children are dying from hunger, without proper, nutritious, healthy meals. 

This affects them negatively, physically and cognitively, leading them to have better development, but they become more vulnerable to increased risk of illness and early death.

Implementing community-based food programs and educating families about children's inability to be offered and access to proper meals and to consume healthy, nutritious food undermines their future growth in early childhood.

What is Termed As Child Hunger?

Malnutrition:

Child Hunger is the lack of a child being offered sufficient food they need for their growth. Children need to have healthy and nutritious food to support their bodies and give them the healthy growth and development needed. 

Food Insecurity:

Communities need to be supported with basic food needs that they need to feed their children. With the absence of consistent access to give children and the community enough healthy food to support an active child, we need to double the services of serving healthy life nutritious meals.

Effects of Poverty, Hunger and Community Suffering

Poverty is the main cause that keeps the community to lie in a state where those individuals who should be the workforce to uplift the community end up with a lack of resources to manage, meet the basic needs that their families need to have.

Most of the community members living in the hardship conditions lack basic education, which hinders them from acquiring better jobs. they cannot afford to acquire basic needs like food, shelter, water, school needs for the little ones and above all, to afford basic healthcare. 

Men and women living in poor conditions, without the qualified skills to create their own jobs, are left to depend on food handouts and assistance. Much needs to be done to raise their living standards for them to care for their children.

Advocates for a good cause, as a movement of peace lovers, we are individuals and a group of caregivers who dedicate our lives to speak up, appealing to everyone to stand up and take action, and work together to stop the hunger crisis.

We need to support a cause to help a child dying of hunger, as we all believe in humanity. We are aiming to lead and create a major positive social impact and meaningful change that will make communities a safe place to live for the future.

Jobs for those with a minimum educational background must be created, and those who can go back to get quality skills should join the organizations that teach adult skills to enable the community members' lives to be uplifted for future development..

Child Poverty in South Africa

It is a shocking that there are millions of children living in worse conditions, with facts that shows of more than six out of ten children of less than 15 years of age (62,1%) are identified as multidimensional as those living in the poor conditions, this was revealed in according to the finding in a report on Child Poverty in South Africa.

The communities are lacking the immediate substantial financial support with resources and many other essentials they require for a minimum standard of a normal personal living and income.

Every Meal Matters, Every Life Counts

According to the World Bank report, it is estimated that nearly or over 700 million to one billion people globally are in a dire situation and live at an extreme poverty level that needs to be uplifted; these shocking numbers are surviving on less than $2.15 per day.

These are the guardians and parents of the children who, in the end, let them fend for themselves and end up in child labor, early marriages, and many are forced to become prostitutes.

Poverty in the community is one of the leading causes of hunger and starvation, causing malnutrition and increased mortality rates among the community members and families of the affected community hunger crisis.
