HOUSING AND RESOURCE TYPES

Remember looking for a centralized source of info telling you where different fire crew types were located? Remember trying to figure out what places offered government housing?This project aims to put those days behind us, at least when applying to USFS Fire jobs.

By crowd sourcing information on fire resource types and housing availability, we have been creating simple maps that delivers this information to the public in one place. The maps can be a bit clunky, but that is due to the limitations of Google Maps.

Browse the map to see duty stations/offices/work centers/fire centers etc. and see what fire resources are based there and if housing is available.
