I am currently a research visitor at the Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium, working together with the Category Theory group of the IRMP - Institute de Recherche en Mathématique et Physique.

My research interests are quite various and include substantially different topics in Commutative and non-Commutative Algebra, Module Theory, Category Theory and also some aspects of Topology, Homological Algebra, Logic and Representation Theory. They may be listed as follows, according to my research activity:

    • Direct-sum decompositions in additive and module categories;

    • Prüfer-like conditions in commutative rings with zero-divisors;

    • Factorization theory for monoids;

    • Homological algebra;

    • Torsion theories in general categories;

    • Topos theory and internal categories;

    • Topological methods for commutative and non-commutative algebra.
