How can you partner with your child's teacher?

  • Make sure your child has an appropriate space (with organized materials).

  • Help me by keeping your child engaged and on time. Help navigate your child's schedule and supervise movement breaks. Occasional help with technological issues is appreciated. You don't have to be your child's teacher! That is my job! Think of yourself as supervisor from afar that helps to keep them where they need to be (as I will have limited control with that).

  • Communicate with me if they are struggling.

  • Be patient with them (and me) as this is all new and will not be perfect. We will adjust along the way and learn from mistakes.

  • Help start your child's day with a smile and keep them happy and safe!

  • Model a growth mindset and praise in a way that promotes a growth mindset in your child. (click for more information on growth mindset)
