Registration is required to attend FEAST.

You can register for the conference here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1987670545107. You can also register for the conference dinner using this link. The deadline for registration is 21 June.

The conference fees are as follows:

(PhD) students:          €75,-

Senior scholars:        €125,-

We can make a limited number of conference fee waivers available for students and scholars who do not have access to funding for participation in the conference. You can apply for a waiver by sending an email to feast2026@uva.nl before 24 May. The email should have the subject line “waiver” and should state your name, your position (student / scholar without access to funding), and your country of residence. Should more people apply than we can offer waivers, priority will be given to applicants from developing countries. You will hear back from us by the end of May.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will take place on Tuesday 7 July at Indonesian restaurant Indrapura and will cost €40 per person, excluding drinks. If you’d like to attend the conference dinner, you need to register (and pay) for it in advance, using the registration link above. It will not be possible to sign up for the conference dinner after registration has closed on 21 June.

At Indrapura, we will be served a ‘rijsttafel’ (‘rice table’), which consists of different hot and cold Indonesian dishes, accompanied by rice, to share with everyone at the table. Table water is also included in the price. Other drinks need to be paid for separately, which can be done directly when they are served.

If you sign up for the dinner, you need to indicate whether you eat meat/fish, vegetarian, or vegan. Should you have more specific dietary restrictions, please send us an email before you register at feast2026@uva.nl.
