Lauren is a Doula and Herbalist who has a passion for women's emotional health. She has worked both with birth and death as gateways to this world.
She deeply believes that access to support and choices around the childbearing years is crucial to the way we birth our feelings about ourselves as women, as well as affecting our relationship to our children and environment.
Fearless Birth grew out of her experience with how little resources are available to low income and homeless women, who are already going through stress. This is exacerbated especially in the U.S, with the added stresses of violence and systemic racism.
Lauren lives in Berkeley, CA with her husband and three children.
Lauren is a Red Cross certified CPR/First Aid and Infant Care responder
Lauren has completed all the requirements for: Overdose Prevention and Response through National Harm Reduction Coalition.
