Awards & Scholarships

FCSTN presents annual awards, including Teacher of the Year distinctions for various experience levels (1-5 Years, 6-15 Years, and 16+ Years), as well as the Special Service Award, Partnership Award, and scholarships. 

Nominations for awards are accepted year-round. The scholarship application opens in the spring. These awards are presented during the Nebraska Career Education Conference in Kearney in June.

The Melinda Holcombe Professional Development Scholarship application opens up during the spring.

The FCSTN Developer Award application opens up during the spring. All items must take place between May 1st and April 30th. To receive the award, one must self-report at least 100 total points with a minimum of 10 points in each of the four areas.
