I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Michigan, where I also completed a certificate in Science, Technology, and Society. My primary research area is the philosophy and history of physics, with a particular focus on quantum field theory. My supervisor is Laura Ruetsche.
From August to October 2024, I was a Predoctoral Fellow at the Historical Epistemology of the Final Theory Program research group at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, supervised by Alexander Blum.
I am currently the Graduate Student Officer of the Board of Trustees of the Philosophy of Physics Society.
Before grad school, I studied physics and philosophy at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, where I am originally from.
Aside from philosophy of physics, I also care and like to think about the history, philosophy, and social studies of science, especially science and values and feminist philosophy of science (and of physics!), early Greek philosophy and science (especially the period between the Presocratics and Plato), inclusive pedagogies, especially their importance in "technical" subfields in philosophy and science, and feminist and pragmatist epistemologies.
