I'm a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Michigan, where I also completed a certificate in Science, Technology, and Society. My primary research area is the history and philosophy of physics, particularly quantum field theory. My supervisor is Laura Ruetsche.
From August to October 2024, I was a Predoctoral Fellow at the Historical Epistemology of the Final Theory Program research group at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, supervised by Alexander Blum.
I'm currently the Graduate Student Officer of the Board of Trustees of the Philosophy of Physics Society.
Before grad school, I studied physics and philosophy at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, where I am originally from.
I'm also interested in history and philosophy of science more broadly (especially science and values and feminist philosophy of science, including physics!), early Greek philosophy and science (especially the period between the Presocratics and Plato), feminist epistemologies, the scholarship in teaching and learning, pragmatisms, and Latin American philosophy and science studies.
