The FBL has been highly praised by a variety of men both experienced and inexperienced in basketball. It builds connections that would have never come to be without the league. It builds teamwork and respect with the goal of having fun while competing hard. With all games being posted to YouTube and everything down to player stats being tracked, this league is not something you'll end up regretting. Most adult leagues similar to this will This league has been on college applications, featured across social media, and is always working towards further exposure.
The FBL is mostly for those who enjoy hooping but don't currently play on a basketball team. This is to provide balance within the league and give those who don't play basketball every day an opportunity to play the game. Anyone regardless of grade is welcome to join and will be on a team. If you want to play basketball in a casual yet competitive way, the FBL is for you.
Is there a way to add a player to my roster after the draft? -Under very certain circumstances yes. If I mess up and forget to add someone to the draft (who reminded me within a reasonable time) then I can add them to a team at the cost of a draft pick that is relative to their skill. For players who likely wont make a huge impact I can personally accept or deny them but if you bring in someone who will significantly change your team, It will cost you or they will not be able too.
Is there a way to cut players? No, once a player is drafted or traded to your team you may not cut them, if a team tries to cut a player they may lose draft picks. Unless its the final pick in the entire draft you will have the choice of who you want to be on your team.
Is there any cost to make a team or participate as a player? There is no cost and there never will be a cost to join the F.B.L. This provides a great opportunity as rec leagues anywhere outside of this will cost sometimes shocking amounts.
How do I best reach the commissioner? Either through Snap chat personally or through the FBL group chat or via my email (If something is more urgent Snapchat is definitely where you'll get a faster response) Snapchat: Joethecrow44 Email: Joeyjachowicz@gmail.com or Joseph.jachowicz087@gsdstudents.org
