Updates directly from the home office on sales change as they change.
Good Afternoon Team,
Just a heads up when it comes to communication and who to reach out to please bring any and all issues to me. Tommy and his team have other tasks to focus on so we are distributing some of their duties to other people. Going forward if you have ANYTHING you need answered, fixed, resolved that pertains to sales, the commission report, members, prospects, start dates, training, payments, etc. Please send all those issues/concerns to me and I will have them distributed appropriately until further notice.
Thank you!
The bonus structure going forward is as follows:
The sales team has a goal every quarter, this quarter the goal is 595 deals. What we did was take an average from the past 6 months and applied that average to this quarter. Therefore, we have to hit the Q3 goal and your personal number in order to receive the $50 bonus per deal you sell in Q3, not just the last month, but the whole 3rd quarter. If we hit the goal, but you do not meet your personal rock then you will not receive the bonus. If the Q3 goal is not met, then you will not receive the bonus
Per Lisa, from this point forward we can ONLY sell starboard memberships. Port is pulling ahead and we promised our members we would keep it even for them so we do not run into availability issues. So today and forward only sell starboard (Tuesday's, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays) memberships until told otherwise.
Promo code is : STARSPECIAL (all caps)
Also, no longer include in your spiel that we sell our boats after 2.5- 3 years. Due to boat availability from the manufacture, we find ourselves having to keep boats longer than expected so just leave that part out.
For now that's all I have and if I'm updated I will be sure to let you all know right away. If people ask about port tell them they can sign as starboard now and we will put them on a waitlist for port once it opens up. If you have any questions let me know.
Thank you!
We are looking into adding a couple more boats into the luxury program. With that being said I need you guys to give me a couple names of people you have signed up or are in the process of signing up that have mentioned they are interested in the luxury program. That way I can make a list and give it to Lisa so she knows once we get the boats that we will have the members ready to upgrade. No guarantee the names you give me will get into the program because we have limited space so do not make any promises please. If you could have that to me by the end of the day that would be great.
Also to remind everyone that we do not do holds anymore, if you have someone who asks about a hold what we are doing is allowing them ONE time to leave the club up to 12 months with no charges, they just have to come back on whatever plans and pricing we offer at that time. If they take longer than 12 months they will have to pay an initial fee again.
Just wanted to touch base and give everyone an update from today's L10 meeting. One of the things we discussed is the NMO scheduling and the members having to get their boating safety license. When you are selling to someone please make sure to always mention to them that it is required to get their boating safety license before they are able to schedule their NMO training. What is going to happen now is once an agreement comes through and the payment is verified, then an automated email will go out to the member asking for a picture of their Florida boating license and/or certificate of completion with their name on it. Each person on the membership (Significant other) need to have one if they intend on operating one of our vessels. Once they submit that it will be sent to Tommy and his team for them to verify it is accurate and then they will be emailed their NMO scheduling link. The reason for this is we are required to have records on file that the member has a card incase of anything legal was to happen so just having the number is not enough, we need a picture of it. So please be sure to let the people you talk to know about this process so there is no confusion or frustration later.
Next, Lisa wants me to create a sales manual to go over training and everything sales related such as programs we use, etc. Paul C was able to find me an old version we had from a year or two ago so I am going through that now and taking out the things I do not find necessary then I would like to send it to all of you so you can review it and let me know what you think needs to be added or removed from it.
I spoke with Jake Weaver and he is going to be emailing everyone to let us know the date, time and location for our in person meeting this month. Looking forward to being around everyone in person and getting to chat with each of you.
To end off on a GREAT note, as of this morning we are at 90 sales already this month!!!! I don't know about you guys but I think that is phenomenal, keep up the great work! I hope you all have an amazing weekend, keep doing what you do and if you need me for anything feel free to give me a call anytime!
Thank you!
Just wanted to give you all an update from the meeting yesterday with marketing. Here are the issues I brought up and the resolutions.
- Notes disappearing / The marketing team is working on a resolution and that should be fixed soon.
- Duplicate and Triple leads / That issue has been resolved.
- Did the prospects receive the info multiple times? / No.
- Verbiage stating everyone needs to take the Florida boating safety course not just 1988 or after / Was being changed yesterday.
- Automate the NMO email once payment is recognized so Tommy does not have to send them/ Working on getting Keap to send an auto email to members once payment is recognized
- Marketing material/ Brochures and marketing material is being updated and will be ready by the boat show
You all should have received your list of members you signed up in April and May that paid over $3900. Please contact those people if you have not already, the submission sheet has been updated so the member can select which specific group (port or starboard) they want to be part of. Or they can opt out and stay on their original plan for now.
