This adjustment is used to compensate the customer for a missing accessory from an apparel item, i.e., belt, scarf, draw cord, etc.
Instructions
1. Offer a 10% discount.
2. Place a check mark on the line item(s) and click “Check Item Options”.
3. From the ADJUSTMENTS drop-down menu select MISC. MERCHANDISE.
4. Click on the % Off radio button, enter the discount amount, select “DAMAGED/MISSING PIECES DISCOUNT” as the reason, and key in a memo.
5. Offer the We Care gift card.

Verify that the missing piece is included with the item
If the customer declines the discount, use the Happy Returns Portal as the return method, and advise the customer to return the item.
