Miscellaneous Merchandise Adjustment – Missing a Piece from an Apparel Set

Description
This adjustment is used to compensate the customer for a missing piece on a set they are willing to keep, i.e., missing pants to a pantsuit.
Instructions
Use the chart below to determine the refund amount.
Place a check mark on the line item(s) and click “Check Item Options”.
From the ADJUSTMENTS drop-down menu select MISC. MERCHANDISE.
Click on the % Off radio button, enter the discount amount, select DAMAGED/MISSING PIECES DISCOUNT as the reason, and key in a memo.
Offer the We Care gift card.
Details
Verify that the missing piece is included with the item
Adjustments must be completed within 30 days of the delivery date.
If the out-of-pocket expense is higher than the refund amount and the customer declines the adjustment, facilitate the return using the Happy Return Portal and advise the customer to return the item.
