Description 

Use this option to restrict an order when: 

• The customer returned one or more items, and the original method of payment is no longer active. 

• The customer received an extra item in the order. 

Instructions 

1. Place a check mark on the line item(s) and click “Check Item Options”. 

2. From the ADJUSTMENTS drop-down menu select GENERIC RESTRICT. 

3. Inform the customer to call back in 2 weeks so we can refund the new method of payment as a GENERIC CREDIT. 

4. Key in a memo. 

Details 

• A restriction will prevent any further refunds from being processed for the order 

• A restriction can be made on the item, package, and order level
