Services

Fawkes Farms has teams that show in horse show circuits including Athens Area Hunter/Jumper Association (AAHJA) and HJ Fox.  The trainer and family are able to discuss which horse shows would be most appropriate for the rider.

We provide guidance through all of the show preparation and schooling the day before the shows as well as coaching throughout the weekend. These shows are a lot of fun for our students and families. Horse Show Season runs from March through November.

Our team riders also have opportunities throughout the year to attend clinics and other learning opportunities to grow as a rider.

The Fawkes Farms Middle School IEA Team made its debut in the 2023 season. Seven riders joined our team this season 4-8 grade. The team made it to regionals in its inaugural season. We look forward to adding a high school team during the 2024 season.

IEA is for the student that wants to broaden skills riding unfamiliar horses in competition. The team season is September through January. Finals are usually February through April 

Fawkes Farms welcomes riders of all ages and abilities. We provide a happy and relaxed atmosphere for students to learn groundwork and basic horse care as well as riding skills. We are happy to provide one of our horses for your to ride or you may trailer in your own.

For your convenience, we offer services ranging from beginner to advanced lesson programs. Lesson packages are offered to best suite the rider and family's needs. Hunter/Jumper Lessons are available year-round on our farm.

 Therapeutic riding lessons are available for individuals with emotional, behavioral, or cognitive disorders.  Riders will learn horse care and horseback riding skills as a form of therapy. Hillary received her PATH International certified Instructor certification in 2011 as well as a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Georgia. These sessions can be tailored for all riders of all ages and abilities.  Therapeutic lessons are available year-round.
