The idea of this week is to cut fab lab logo and to print the toy
I used Prusa slicer ( software) to transform the 3D object file into G code in order to connect it with 3D printer to print the object I wanted. as well as I used Pla filament to put into the 3D printer then it started to shape the object.
To make the nice coaster with fab lab logo I used the laserworks ( software) to transform logo file into G code to enable the laser cutting machine to read the file and cut the shape properly. Certainly, I used Laser cutting (machine) to cut the materials ( 3mm ply wooden boared) .
I opened the logo file in laserwork to detect which part will be cut and which one will be engraved and to adjust the other factors such as speed, time, grave depth and so on.
I used prusa slicer to slice my design and turn it to G code. i chose sample from samples ( design file) in stl and drag it into the slicer. i adjust the factors then i pressed export file.
to fabricate 3D object:
1- preheat the machine
2- choose the material ( PLA)
3-when it's ready , press enter
4- record the time of printing.

to cut the logo:
1- open the laser cutter ( the 2 buttons )
2-insert the file onto the machine computer and adjust it then press on start button
3- put your material inside the machine and choose the focus
Ali helped me to install the software and he also suggested to decrease the time of slicing.
I couldn't install the software by using mobile data :D
I advise to use the wifi instead.
By using 3D printing or laser cutter I can make the external parts of the robot.
