There have been many sets of manga anthologies bases on the series produced by different companies and drawn by a multitude of different artists. The first volume of the earliest anthology series was released by Ichijinsha with the title Fate/Hollow Ataraxia Anthology Comic, on January 7, 2006 under their DNA Media Comics imprint; the fifteenth volume in the series was released on August 25, 2008.[5] Two anthology series were then released by Kadokawa, the first was Fate/hollow Ataraxia ~ Comic la carte, released on January 10, 2006.[6] The second, Fate/hollow ataraxia Comic a la carte ~Happy Life hen~, was released on May 24, 2006.[7] Another two anthology series were then released by Enterbrain. Fate/hollow ataraxia Anthology Comic was released between January 30, 2006 and May 25, 2007 in nine volumes under their Magi-Cu Comics imprint.[8] A 4-koma series was later published by Enterbrain between December 25, 2007 and December 25, 2008 in six volumes.[9]In 2013, a Fate/hollow ataraxia manga illustrated by Medori and published by Kadokawa began serializing.

A soundtrack to the game, entitled Fate/hollow ataraxia Original Sound Track was published by Geneon Entertainment on November 23, 2005.[10] The single "Hollow" was released by Type-Moon on October 28, 2005.[11]

Fate/hollow ataraxia became one of the top selling visual novels of 2005.[12] The PS Vita port sold 53,979 copies within the first week of release in Japan, ranking at fourth place amongst all Japanese software sales for that week's sales charts.[13]

In the realm of characters, there are a lot of enjoyable scenes ranging from silly hijinks, cute pool dates, and backstory on some of the other characters and servants. Aside from the points where the actual story is furthered, these backstory sessions are some of my favorite moments in the visual novel. While Fate/Stay Night gave us the backstory of all the main characters, the rest of the cast was kind of hung out to dry (because they were all enemies). In Hollow Ataraxia, we get a glimpse into the upbringing of Souichirou Kuzuki, the betrayal ridden story of Medea, the tragic end of Medusa, the legend of Cu Chulainn, etc.

Fate/hollow ataraxia is the fandisc pseudo-sequel to Fate/stay night and one of numerous works that take place in the Nasuverse. It is based on an unusual version of events: The Grail War has ended, Kotomine and Gilgamesh have been defeated and all is well. Only... all the Servants are still around and everyone seems to be alive. Well, okay, reasonable enough if you can't follow just one ending. But it's not that simple: Apparently thanks to Tohsaka's attempts to create a magical item based on dimensional hopping, all the different continuities have been mingled including ones we never saw. So what really happened and what's going on?

Fate/hollow ataraxia differs from its predecessor in its gameplay and tone, favoring slice-of-life comedy scenes while retaining a dramatic core story. Like Fate/stay night, hollow ataraxia did not receive an official translation, but an unofficial patch was created by fans.

Unlike Fate/stay night, Fate/hollow ataraxia does not use a route-based system and its story is not linear. Instead, the player can choose among several scenes, some optional, and some unlocking the flags necessary for the story to progress. The game consists of four days played repeatedly, with the game ending and returning to the main menu at the end of the last day. However, flags are carried through: scenes already played will be marked as such and new scenes will unlock.

It ultimately comes down to whether you want to invest a massive amount of time into reading or not. Most visual novels I play take longer than 50 hours to finish, which is a lot of time compared to anime (for example, your standard 2-cour anime only has ~8 hours of content.)

here is the only english walkthrough I found. read carefully. I just looked it over cuz I wanna try compleating the game without much help =) hope I was of some use ?
