The MZ was my dedicated track bike. It has about fifty horsepower and is well suited to my riding style. It's all about corner speed you know :). I usually get dropped for dead on the straights and then reel 'em back in in the tight stuff. I've taken to block passing on turn entry to compensate for my turn exit acceleration disadvantage. Depending on the track, I can usually run in the faster half of the intermediate group but I have to stretch the throttle cables to do so.
I don't do track days alone should I thump my head and need assistance. My buddies are spotty in their ability to attend so I've only done about a dozen track days. TX is friggin' huge and the tracks aren't close. It takes a lot of prep and trailering to make it happen.
