I am an Iranian-American political activist, writer, and public commentator whose public work is centered on Iran, human rights, secular democracy, national sovereignty, and the future of the Iranian people.
My connection to Iran is both personal and deeply rooted in my identity. Having lived between different cultures and experienced life both inside and outside Iran, I have developed a strong interest in the political, social, and historical forces that have shaped the country and its people. Over time, that interest became a commitment to public advocacy and to supporting a future in which Iranians can determine their own destiny free from authoritarian rule, political repression, religious coercion, and state-sponsored violence.
A major focus of my advocacy is the transition from the Islamic Republic toward a free, secular, democratic, stable, and prosperous Iran. I believe Iran's future must be built around individual rights, equality before the law, accountable government, national unity, economic opportunity, freedom of expression, freedom of religion and belief, and peaceful relations with the international community.
I have been a political member of the Iran Novin Party since 2023, and my political involvement has included participation in public events, conferences, demonstrations, panel discussions, media conversations, and other activities focused on Iran's future and the Iranian people's struggle for fundamental political change.
My public work focuses on helping bring greater attention to the experiences, aspirations, and political views of Iranians who reject the Islamic Republic and seek a fundamentally different future for their country.
I regularly engage with subjects including the Iranian opposition, political prisoners, human rights abuses, protests inside Iran, the Iranian diaspora, the role of the international community, Western foreign policy, regional security, Israel-Iran relations, and the challenges associated with political transition and reconstruction.
I also believe that discussions about Iran must extend beyond opposition to the current regime. Removing an authoritarian system is only one part of the challenge. Serious attention must also be given to what comes afterward: establishing functioning institutions, restoring the rule of law, stabilizing the economy, rebuilding international relationships, protecting civil liberties, preventing political violence, and creating conditions in which future generations of Iranians can succeed.
For that reason, I closely follow and support serious discussions surrounding Iran's transition and reconstruction, including efforts to develop practical plans for governance, economic recovery, national security, social stability, and long-term prosperity.
Another important part of my public commentary concerns the relationship between Iran, Israel, the United States, and the wider Middle East.
I believe it is essential to distinguish between the Iranian people and the policies of the Islamic Republic. The hostility promoted by the current regime toward Israel and other countries should not automatically be viewed as representative of the Iranian population as a whole.
I support a future in which Iran can move away from ideological confrontation, terrorism, proxy warfare, and regional destabilization and instead pursue normal diplomatic and economic relations with its neighbors and the wider international community.
A future Iranian government should represent the interests of the Iranian people rather than exporting an ideology or using the country's resources to finance conflict abroad.
My advocacy has also included participation in public discussions and political events where I have spoken about developments inside Iran, Iranian public opinion, protests, the Iranian opposition, regional developments, and the way Iran is portrayed in international media.
In January 2026, I participated as a panelist in “The Iranian Front: Strategic Debrief” at the Israeli-American Council's 10th National Summit in Hollywood, Florida. The discussion examined developments involving Iran, the impact of the Israel-Iran conflict, internal conditions within the Islamic Republic, Iranian protests, and the broader strategic environment affecting the region.
I continue to participate in conversations where Iranian voices and perspectives can contribute to a deeper understanding of what is happening inside the country and what a post-Islamic Republic future could look like.
Writing is another important part of my public work.
Through articles and commentary, I explore subjects that often cannot be adequately addressed in a short interview, social-media post, or public appearance. My writing covers political developments, Iranian history, international policy, human rights, the opposition movement, regional security, and questions surrounding Iran's possible transition.
I also use writing as a way to document important developments and preserve perspectives that may otherwise disappear within the rapid pace of daily news and social media.
The articles published on this website represent my own analysis and opinions. They are intended to contribute to serious discussion, encourage further research, and provide additional context for readers interested in Iran and its future.
Despite the enormous challenges Iran has faced, I remain convinced that the country possesses extraordinary human, cultural, economic, and strategic potential.
Iran is home to an ancient civilization, a highly educated population, a large global diaspora, substantial natural resources, and generations of people who have demonstrated remarkable resilience under extraordinarily difficult circumstances.
The Iran I hope to see is one where political disagreement does not lead to imprisonment, women determine how they live and dress, religious belief is a private right rather than an instrument of government, journalists and citizens can speak freely, minorities enjoy equal protection, businesses can prosper without political corruption, and young Iranians can imagine building their futures in their own country rather than feeling forced to leave it.
Ultimately, my advocacy is about more than opposition to a government.
It is about supporting the possibility of an Iran that is free, secular, democratic, peaceful, prosperous, and once again connected confidently with the world.
This website documents my writing, public activities, media appearances, political engagement, and continuing perspective on Iran's present struggle and its future possibilities.
