Here, I share my journey in environmental science, justice, and risk management. This site highlights my education, research, skills, and outreach, showcasing how interdisciplinary science can drive sustainable and equitable solutions to environmental risk and community resilience.

My path is rooted in the coastal communities of the Global South. Growing up in a region frequently disrupted by cyclones, floods, and erosion, I witnessed the displacement of families and the loss of schools, mosques, and ancestral lands. These experiences were more than observations; they became my motivation. Watching my community rebuild taught me the meaning of resilience and the urgent need for effective environmental risk management.

My long-term research goal is to advance technologies and decision-support frameworks for environmental risk management within the framework of the SDGs, with a particular focus on Bangladesh. Through my work, I strive to connect climate science, GIS, and environmental modeling to develop holistic and equitable strategies that protect both people and the planet. 

I strongly believe in the value of hard work. It is not just about innate ability, but the consistent commitment and perseverance we bring to our goals. This mindset has enabled me to navigate academic and professional challenges with determination, and I strive to bring that same focused dedication to every endeavor.  

I welcome collaboration and dialogue with researchers, practitioners, and communities. Together, we can deepen our understanding of environmental challenges and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future.
