Ph.D. and Postdoc/Research Scientist Positions in Aerosol-Cloud-Climate Interactions

Dr. Fangqun Yu’s group at the University at Albany invites applications for two Ph.D. studentships and one to two Postdoctoral/Research Scientist positions.

The group’s research centers on global modeling and process-level understanding of size-resolved particle microphysics, aerosol-cloud interactions, and the direct/indirect radiative forcing of natural and anthropogenic particles.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. positions: Candidates require a strong foundation in physics and mathematics, along with some experience in numerical modeling.

• Postdoc/Scientist positions: Candidates must have demonstrated experience with global or regional modeling regarding atmospheric particles or aerosol-cloud-climate interactions.
