Hi, welcome to my site!
My name is Fang Wang. I earned my Ph.D. in Multilingual Education from The University of Iowa. I am currently a faculty member at Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.
I have been an educator for a decade. I have experience teaching in both PK-12 education and higher education. My research focuses on second language reading, writing, and assessment.
When I am not working, I like to spend time with my family, hang out with friends, and travel.
Research Overview
Since starting my PhD, I have been conducting research in assessing second language reading and writing. I have published several studies in this area. Currently, I am working on publishing my dissertation titled The Effectiveness of Learning-Oriented Assessment on Source Use of Integrated Writing Tasks. Teaching Overview
I have a diverse teaching background, including teaching at the university/college setting and P-12 schools. I taught both ESL and teacher education classes. My students ranged from adult ESL immigrants to pre-service/in-service ESL teachers. I also had experience with teaching online classes. Click here to learn more about my teaching.
