FINA 470 - Corporate Finance

This upper-level capstone course emphasizes the application of corporate finance concepts to strategic business decisions. Students analyze real-world cases involving financial performance, forecasting, valuation, capital structure, financing decisions, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.

Community-Engaged Learning (CEL), Spring–Fall 2026: I developed an ongoing partnership with St. John Bosco Schools through which students work as finance consultants on real organizational challenges. Projects integrate applied financial analysis, strategic decision-making, teamwork, and professional client presentations. In Spring 2026, students evaluated the financial feasibility and strategic implications of a potential campus expansion and presented their recommendations on-site to school leadership and board members.  

FINA 316 - Intermediate Financial Management

This course builds on introductory corporate finance and develops students’ understanding of capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure, payout policy, short-term financial planning, leasing, and mergers and acquisitions. I emphasize applied problem solving, Excel-based analysis, and connections between financial theory and actual corporate decisions. 

FINA 315 - Introduction to Corporate Finance

Instructor Evaluation: 94.4% positive (Spring 2026) 

This course introduces the foundations of corporate finance, including the time value of money, risk and return, stock and bond valuation, capital budgeting, and the cost of capital. I emphasize quantitative problem solving, Excel applications, and the development of financial intuition that prepares students for upper-level finance coursework. 

GMGT 682 — Financial Management 

Instructor, scheduled Spring 2027 — MBA Program 

This MBA-level course develops financial decision-making skills for managers, with an emphasis on valuation, capital budgeting, financing decisions, risk, cost of capital, and the strategic implications of financial management.
