Fan Li

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Finance at the University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business.  My research focuses on corporate finance, political finance, labor economics, financial regulations, and investment.

When I'm not researching or teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. You can often find me at the climbing gym, local badminton and basketball courts, reading in parks, or hiking  and biking both near and far from town.

Prior to my Ph.D. studies at the University of Utah, I taught finance and completed my MBA at University of California, Riverside (2020). I earned my B.A. in Economics from Durham University (UK) (2016), M.S. in Quantitative Finance with High Distinction from the University of Glasgow (UK) (2017).
