What is the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)?
"Students with disabilities who need any assistance or accommodations should contact the instructor." Disabilities are not a reflection of who you are, we won't even call them "disabilities" anymore. Understanding how you learn is the first step to success. If you know or think that you have any learning or physical disabilities, please contact DRC. (You can click on the "Disability Support Service" picture above to go to their website). Don't wait too long to get support.
What is Heath Services?
Everybody feels off now and then — from a simple cough to the need for counseling. Your health clinic (SHPS), supported by the mandatory student health fee paid at registration, is here for you. There is no fee for visiting the office, however at this time, you do need to call and make an appointment. A small fee may be charged for in-office lab tests, prescription medicines, and immunizations. (You can click "Health Service" picture above to go to their website).

Tutor:
Learning a new language and modality skills can be challenging. I encourage you to practice, create a study group outside of the class. Tutoring can be essential support in learning. As soon as I get the right link, I will let you know in Canvas and add the link to the "ASL" handshape picture above. Please keep your eyes out for announcement related to tutoring.
