Out of town participants have the option of reserving a campsite at Lowes Creek County Park, which are limited and have RV hookups available. We can also recommend the following local hotels:
Dogs are not allowed on the course during the race, but are certainly welcome (on leash and kept safely secured) among the grounds off the course. Please pick up after them!
The West Side aid station, about halfway around the 12.5K loop, traditionally provides a pancake breakfast! It's a ton of fun and a huge hit every year.
The aid station at the start/finish provides the usual ultra running fare (subject to change each year):
PB&Js (clearly marked and kept at a distance for those with allergies)
Chips, pretzels, other salty snacks
Orange slices
Sandwich cookies
Candies
Pickles (IYKYK)
Water
Gatorade
Cola/Ginger ale
Anywhere from 2-4 participants can take part in the relay option!
Heck yeah! There's a link to sign up on the home page on this site, but you can always email the Race Director (currently walt@corbatrails.org) for info!
We are always on the lookout for sponsors for this event, to ensure we can hold it, and to help it grow! Right now it just barely sustains itself, and that's OK with us, but one thing we'd really like to explore is a Title Sponsor - a local business who sponsors the event sustainably every year. Roughly $3000-$4000 guarantees we can put on the event at the scale we currently do, for about 150 runners, and we rely 100% on volunteer efforts. We pull out all the stops to make it happen. If you or someone you know is interested in this opportunity, which comes with advertising on this site, the CORBA website, at the event, and in event materials, contact walt@corbatrails.org.
