Growing up in the small Austrian village Erla, surrounded by nature, including the Danube, trees and plenty of cows and fields, has influenced me a lot. Each weekend, my parents took me and my siblings to the mountains for hiking and scrambling. After more than 10 years of competitive tennis, I eventually switched to running in 2013, in particular running in the mountains, following the joy I experienced in my youth. In 2017, I joined the national team in mountain running. After some years at Dynafit, I am now a Merrell sponsored athlete.
I have already experienced so many beautiful moments in nature, in and outside of competitions, with my girlfriend, friends, family members and alone. Hopefully many more will come.
