"The only impossible journey is the one you never begin."

After graduating in Mathematics at the Johannes Kepler University, I continued research and teaching in Linz at the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation. I obtained my PhD there in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Franz Winkler and Prof. Rafael Sendra.
In Octover 2022 I moved as a postdoctoral researcher for one year to the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, under the mentorship of Bernd Sturmfels.
My research interests are in Symbolic Computation, Differential Algebra, Algebraic Geometry and vary from pure theory to applications in other mathematical fields and sciences. My work lies on the boundary of mathematics and computer science.
You can find out more about my professional career in my CV.
With September 2023, I have moved to private industry working as Head of Technology and Impact Invest in a consuting company in Vienna (Mercer Austria). Besides automating internal processes, I started to do research on the possible impact an investment can have.
Besides doing research and work, I am a competitive sportsman. As a child, my parents regularly went hiking with me, and I have fallen in love with mountains. I can express this joy in running. I am a member of the Austrian national team in mountain running.
