Welcome to **Pulse** ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Pulse mobile application (the "App").

## 1. Information We Collect

**We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers.**

Pulse is designed as an "Offline-First" application. This means:

* **Habits & Focus Data:** All your created habits, completion logs, streaks, and focus session data are stored entirely locally on your device's internal storage.

* **No Accounts Required:** We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide an email address to use the core features of the App.

## 2. Permissions We Request

To provide certain functionalities, the App may request the following permissions on your device:

* **Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS):** Used strictly to send you local reminders for your habits. These notifications are scheduled and triggered locally on your device.

* **Alarms & Reminders (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM):** Required to ensure your habit reminders and interval check-ins trigger at the exact time you specified.

* **Battery Optimization Exemption:** Requested to ensure that background alarms and notifications fire accurately without being delayed by the Android operating system's battery saving features.

* **Storage / Media:** Requested only when you choose to export your data or reports (PDF/CSV) to save them to your device's local Downloads folder.

## 3. Data Backup, Export, and Reports

Pulse provides manual "Data Backup" and "Executive Report (PDF/CSV)" export features.

* These backups and reports are generated entirely locally on your device.

* You choose where to save them (e.g., local storage, Downloads). We do not have access to these files once exported.

## 4. Subscriptions and Payments (Google Play Billing)

If you choose to purchase a premium subscription (Pulse Pro / Executive Tier), the transaction is processed securely by the **Google Play Billing** system.

* We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card information, billing address, or financial data.

## 5. Third-Party Analytics

Currently, Pulse does not integrate third-party analytics or crash reporting tools (such as Firebase or Crashlytics). Your usage behavior is not tracked by us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the **Pulse** mobile application (the "App") operated by us.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the App.

## 1. Use of the App

Pulse is a productivity and habit-tracking tool designed to help you manage your time and build habits. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the App.

## 2. Medical Disclaimer

**Pulse is not a medical device, nor is it a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.**

The soundscapes, focus timers, and habit-tracking features provided by the App are for general wellness and productivity purposes only. They are not intended to treat, cure, or diagnose any medical condition, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety, or insomnia. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

## 3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Pulse offers a premium version ("Pulse Pro" or "Executive Tier") through auto-renewing subscriptions and/or one-time purchases via Google Play Billing.

* **Payment:** Payment will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

* **Auto-Renewal:** Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

* **Management:** You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time by going to your Google Play Account Settings. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

* **Refunds:** All refund requests must be handled through the Google Play Store in accordance with Google's refund policies.

## 4. User Data, Reports, and Backup

As stated in our Privacy Policy, your data and generated reports are stored locally on your device.

* You are solely responsible for creating backups of your data using the provided Export feature.

* We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or failure to backup your data.

## 5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (including but not limited to design, icons, layout, and embedded sound effects) are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our explicit permission. Sound effects are used under appropriate licenses (e.g., Pixabay Content License) and may not be extracted or sold on a standalone basis.

## 6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Pulse, nor its developers, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

## 7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
