Hallo! My name is Tianxing Wang, currently looking for a job to start my career as a UX researcher and I'm also open to any UX-relevant opportunities.
I switched my study program from Mechatronic Engineering (Bachelor) to Human-Technology Interaction (Master) because I found myself more interested in solving practical problems that people have or will have when they use a service o product. Involving people into the development of a product is appealing to me. Scenarios, stories, inspiration, surprise, satisfaction, confusion, and difficulties that occur between humans and technology are motivations that prompt me into the UX field. I love immersing myself in the process of digging, observing and investigating the habits and needs of users. I enjoy seeking out novelty when facing new tasks or challenges.
During the study of master's program, I gained experience in both qualitative research and quantitative research, such as focus group, interview, survey, user test, statistic analysis in Stata, etc. I also got used to work in a multicultural environment with people of different specialized backgrounds. I've been exposed to multidisciplinary domains, for example psychology, psychophysiology, cognitive engineering, perception, and of course UX design. These knowledge, at a theoretical level, has made me be more aware of the close connection between humans and technology and the infinite possibilities. I applied these knowledge to my projects and look forward to more practical opportunities in the future to convert theory into REAL innovations and improvements.
