2024 CNE Goalie of the Year: One of the top goaltenders in the country, Minickene ranks among the nation's best in NCAA DIII in Save Percentage. She has a 11-1 record in the regular season, with the one loss coming against nationally top-ranked Middlebury. In conference, she ranks first amongst all goalies in Goals Against Average and Save Percentage (.852).
2024 All-Conference (CNE) First Team
CNE Rookie of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week 9/23/2024: Produced a 1-0 record and a 0.00 goals against average in 75 minutes of action. Made all 11 of her saves on the week in a 1-0 victory over conference rival UNE on Saturday. Her 11 saves tied a career-high. Minickene is the first rookie goalie in the league to defeat UNE in conference or postseason play since 2017.
CNE Rookie of the Week 10/21/2024: Endicott field hockey student-athlete Faith Minickene (Madison, Conn.) has collected Conference of New England's (CNE) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday. Minickene led the Gulls to their two wins with a 2-0 record. The freshman recorded 22 saves (.957 save percentage) and a 0.50 gaa (goals against average) in 120 minutes of action. On Wednesday in the 5-0 victory, the freshman made six saves and recorded her fourth shutout of the season. Followed that up against Colby by stopping 16 shots (.941 save percentage). 11 of the 16 saves came in second half to help stifle the Mules' potential comeback attempt. This is Minickene's second time this season receiving rookie of the week honors (9/23).
Second Team All-Region: National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region: Minickene earns her first career all-region selection after a 2024 season in which she was named CNE Goalie of the Year along with being on the All-CNE First Team. The freshman compiled a 1.66 GAA, 113 saves, a .850 save percentage, and a 11-2 record in 13 starts for the Gulls. The CNE Goalie of the Year finished the year ranked seventh nationally and first in the conference in save percentage. This season the Madison, Conn. native recorded five games with 10 or more saves including a 26 save performance against now seven time defending nationally champions, Middlebury which ranks second all-time in program history. Minickene is the first freshman since Brianna Anslow (Clifton Park, N.Y.) to be named to an all-region team.
