Introduction

Faith is a personal, private spiritual companion. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data the app collects, what stays on your device, what — if anything — is transmitted externally, and what rights you have over your information.

We built Faith with a privacy-first philosophy: your prayers, reflections, and spiritual journey are yours. The overwhelming majority of your data never leaves your iPhone.

Please read this policy carefully. By using Faith, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

During onboarding and while using the app, you may optionally provide:

• First name

• Spiritual preferences

• Gender and age range

• Preferred notification time

• Prayer intentions

• Verse notes and reflections

• Daily mood selections

• Liked and saved verses

All of the above is stored exclusively on your device.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Faith automatically tracks the following on your device only:

• App open dates

• Session hour

• Engagement affinity

• Daily verse goal progress

• Reading plan completion dates

All of this data is stored locally using iOS UserDefaults and never transmitted externally.

2. Subscription and Purchase Information

Faith uses Apple In-App Purchases and RevenueCat for subscription validation and entitlement management.

RevenueCat may receive:

• Anonymous device identifier

• App Store receipt

• iOS version and locale

• App version

• Subscription events

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

Faith does NOT collect:

• Email address

• Phone number

• Location data

• Contacts

• Browsing history

• Advertising identifiers

• Analytics tracking

• Financial information

4. Local Storage

Your prayers, notes, reflections, moods, streaks, and personalization data remain stored locally on your device.

Faith does not operate servers that store your spiritual content.

5. Notifications

Faith uses local on-device notifications only.

No push notification servers are used.

6. Widgets

Faith widgets use local App Group storage to display daily verses and personalization settings.

No widget data is transmitted externally.

7. Web Guard

Faith includes an optional Safari Content Blocker called Web Guard.

Web Guard does NOT:

• Read browsing history

• Record websites visited

• Access webpage contents

• Transmit browsing activity

8. Photo Library Access

Faith may request add-only photo library access when you choose to save verse artwork.

The app cannot read your existing photos.

9. Sharing Features

Faith allows users to share verse artwork using Apple’s native share sheet.

No private journal data is included in shared content.

10. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used by Faith is RevenueCat.

Faith does not use:

• Ads SDKs

• Analytics SDKs

• Crash reporting SDKs

• Social media SDKs

11. Data Security

All local data is protected by Apple’s iOS security architecture, including encryption and app sandboxing.

12. Children’s Privacy

Faith is not directed toward children under 13 years old.

13. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

• Access

• Correction

• Deletion

• Restriction

• Portability

Most Faith data can be deleted by uninstalling the app.
