Chief Apostle Crystal Lewis is a native of Columbus County, North Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Jimmy Stephens and Charlotte McCoy. She is married to Deacon Marcus Lewis. They have four children: Kanetta, Markel, Maurice, and Christopher. There is never a dull moment with her 10 grandchildren and a host of godchildren. Her family also includes her two sisters, Cindy and Recessia; along with their husbands Brian and Jeff. She also has an additional 8 sisters-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law. Apostle Lewis began her Christian journey at a young age while attending Holy Light Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Rev. H.B. Blocker, followed by the late Rev. Robert E. Graham. The church is now under the leadership of Elder John Williams, Jr. As a young girl, she was very active in the church. She had a special love for singing. After marriage, Apostle Lewis moved her membership to Antioch First Born and Antioch True Deliverance in 1993 under the leadership of Bishop Bruce Alderman. She served faithfully and attended many church functions. In 2002, Apostle Lewis felt God calling her to a different place in Him. So, she joined To God Be The Glory Ministries under the leadership of the late Chief Apostle Viola Davis.
In 2004, the voice of God became clearer as she accepted the call to preach. The pull on her life was very strong. God called her out of her shoes for nine 1/2 years as she walked as a barefoot prophet. Elevation was imminent as she accepted the position of assistant pastor at Gateway Outreach Ministry in Tabor City in 2016. The ministry moved its location to Fair Bluff one year later in 2017, where she was installed as Pastor.
Because God works in His own timing and His own ways, the opportunity became available for Apostle Lewis to come back to the place where the Call began to manifest itself. It is affectionally called "Sand Pit" (formerly To God Be the Glory). Here God birthed Faith Believers Apostolic Outreach Ministries. It is also here where God affirmed Crystal Lewis as the Apostle over Faith Believers and New Ground Deliverance Center, Con-way, SC in 2021. As you can see God has been doing a quick work in this woman of God. And it has not been without opposition. But how many of you know that what God calls into existence, no man can destroy. That brings us to this glorious day, where elevation has come once again. Apostle Lewis has accepted the call to Chief Apostle. She has the proof which affirms her elevation through many miracles, signs, and wonders that have been performed by the God in her. She has seen the dead rise through the works by the Holy Ghost and through her hands. Her prophetic anointing, profound preaching, and anointed praise has catapulted her to a place in God where He can trust her with the anointing to do His will. She continues to grow in grace, wisdom, and knowledge, where she currently attends Divinity University.
