Faith Believers Apostolic Outreach Ministries, formally known as Gateway Outreach Ministries, was birthed by Chief Apostle Crystal Lewis in September of 2020. In 2016, Apostle Lewis accepted the position of assistant pastor at Gateway Outreach Ministry in Tabor City. The ministry moved its location to Fair Bluff, NC one year later in 2017, where she was installed as Sr. Pastor under the leadership of the Late Chief Apostle Viola Davis. Because God works in His timing and His ways, in 2020, the opportunity became available for Apostle Lewis to come back to the place where the Call began to manifest itself. It is affectionally called "Sand Pit" (formerly To God Be the Glory), where later that year through Apostle Lewis God birthed Faith Believers Apostolic Outreach Ministries, In 2023 God saw that we were missing a piece of the puzzle, after training and examination God saw fit that we needed a Pastor as the call of the Apostle would need Apostle Lewis to be elsewhere at times, in September 2023 our Pastor was installed to serve as Faith Believers Apostolic Outreach Ministries Pastor, and now as we continue to grow in numbers and in the Realm of the Spirit under the Leadership of our Pastor Lorie A. Stephens-Butler. 

Faith Believers Apostolic Outreach Ministries now serves as the Headquarters Church of the Faith Believers Apostolic Felowship of Ministries & Covenant Assemblies (FBCA) (F.B.A.F.O.M), where Chief Apostle Lewis is the Chief Overseer & Presiding Prelate.
