Visiting any church for the first time can be intimidating. The music and worship may be different than you’re used to. You are surrounded by unfamiliar faces. You may get lost in the building. We understand your concerns, and hope this page helps to prepare you for your first visit.
What to Wear
You will find people wearing a variety of clothing styles, both formal and informal, and you will be welcomed in whatever style of clothing you choose. We encourage our members to wear what would be honoring to the Lord.
Music & Worship
Our music is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We seek to sing songs that reflect truth about God and the gospel, including a mix of modern and ancient Christian music. Our style is more traditional, but passionate, as we are accompanied by a piano, guitar and mandolin. Each worship service includes time of singing, prayer, a time of giving, and a time for the preaching of God’s Word. The preaching is followed by an invitation to respond to God in a way that is appropriate to the sermon.
Child Care
We offer clean, well-supervised nurseries for babies and toddlers, for all services. We have a 10:00am Sunday School program, a vibrant Super Church program during the 11:00 service On Wednesday nights we also have a program for the kids. Sunday evenings in the fall we also offer a Kids Choir experience that is filled with fun and music, leading up to a Christmas performances.
Am I expected to give?
No. While giving is certainly a legitimate part of worship We're not inviting you to Faith Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
You are a unique creation made by God Himself. Your life has meaning and purpose because God doesn't do anything without it. The Bible teaches that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God... Romans 3:23. Sin is anything that falls short of God's standard of perfection as He defines it in His word. Sin makes us unable to have a relationship with God and subsequently, causes us to forfeit the fulfillment of our purpose. The good news is that God loves you so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to be punished for your sin on the cross. His shed blood satisfied the righteous demands of a Holy God and threw open the possibility of Knowing God and going to Heaven. If you have never made the decision to be saved, you can do so now by sincerely praying a simple prayer...
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner because your Word says "ALL have sinned". Lord forgive me of my sins. I know I owe a sin debt that I cannot pay. Lord I believe that you died on the cross and rose on the third day to pay my sin debt. Lord I'm sorry for my sins. From this day forward I will put all my trust in you. Thank you for saving me and help me to be a good Christian. In Jesus name, Amen.
