Our Beliefs

GOD -We believe in one God. We believe that He is the God who has revealed Himself in His Word, the Bible. We believe that God exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

BIBLE -We believe in the inspiration, inerrancy, and authority of the Scriptures. We believe that the sixty six books of the King James Version is the Word of God preserved in the English language.

THE FALL OF MAN -We believe in the Genesis account of creation. We believe that Adam's sin has cursed all mankind to be sinners and therefore, he is naturally out of fellowship with God.

SALVATION -We believe that the only remedy for man's fallen condition is salvation by grace through faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ. We believe that salvation can be acquired by anyone who is willing to admit that they are a sinner. They must recognize that Jesus died for them on the cross and rose again. Lastly, they must be willing to simply ask Jesus Christ to personally save them. We believe that salvation once gained can never be lost.

GROWTH -We believe that saved persons should be baptized after they get saved and that they should unite with a Bible believing church. The church's responsibility is to help Christians grow and equip them to serve God.

JESUS CHRIST -We believe in the full Deity and pre-existence of Christ. We also believe in the virgin birth of Christ. Furthermore, we believe that His death was voluntary, substitutionary, and atoning. We believe that His resurrection was real and bodily. Finally, we believe that His Second Coming is to be personal, visible, and premillennial.

MISSIONS -Faith Baptist Church believes it's purpose is to help people come into a meaningful relationship with God through salvation and growth. Our missions philosophy is such that we believe this should be done "by us" locally and "through us" by the support of missionaries.
