The Fairways at Gateway Homeowners Association (FGHOA) Website is reserved for the exclusive use of homeowners and residents of the Gateway Subdivision in Romulus, MI. Use of this website is strictly limited to our neighborhood homeowners and is intended to encourage and promote membership participation in our association and community.
This website is primarily intended for the official business of the Gateway Homeowners Association to facilitate the FGHOA various departments, i.e. Welcome Committee, Neighborhood Watch, Architectural Committee, etc. and any other official functions deemed appropriate. The website is also to be used by Association members as a tool to obtain updates, postings and meeting notes as well as air neighborhood concerns.
Mission Statement
The Mission of The Fairways at Gateway Homeowners Association is to help preserve and enhance our property values and amenities located throughout our subdivision by maintaining the common areas and overall aesthetics of our community. The goals include creating and maintaining a friendly and safe neighborhood environment that recognizes and appreciates the diversity within our community.

Why are we considered an Association
Many of us were not aware that our Association is registered with the State of Michigan as a Non-Profit Corporation. Many were also not aware that our homes our considered Site Condos a.k.a. Detached Condos. This means we are considered Co-Owners because we have care of property in common (entrances & islands). With that in place this means we are required by law to have and maintain an Association Board of Directors, which means paying dues is not an option. If our association fails to run itself then it would fall into state receivership. This means our association would become state run and our dues would most likely increase.
