Our Mission
To provide the Fairview Orchestra Director with the resources required to provide the FHS orchestra students a rewarding, educational, enriching experience and build connections with the greater community.
Booster Club Goals
To stimulate and sustain the awareness, enthusiasm, interest, respect and cooperation of the Fairview High School faculty and student body, as well as the community at large, in the orchestra program.
To provide volunteer support for the orchestra.
To raise funds through various activities to help pay for expenses associated with things like:
New music and music storage
Concerts (including programs and other costs)
Intensive workshops by expert instructors, often from professional orchestras
Performance, experiential trips and competitions
Professional development for our director
Background
BVSD alone does not provide for all of the Fairview Orchestra Program’s annual needs. Therefore, a group of parents to established the Fairview Orchestra Booster Club as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to provide the necessary support.
