Kyriakos Drivas is an associate professor at the University of Piraeus, Department of Economics. He has received his BSc from University of Crete, Department of Economics, MSc from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Department of Agricultural Economics and PhD from University of California-Berkeley, Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
He has worked as an adjunct lecturer at Hellenic Open University, a post-doctoral researcher at the Agricultural University of Athens, the Athens University of Economics and Business and the Agriculture Economics Research Institute. He has also worked as a visiting economist at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and external research associate at the Hellenic Industrial Property Organization.
His research interests lie on the empirical study of innovation management, intellectual property rights, economic growth and technology transfer.
He has over twenty publications in peer review journals including Nature, Research Policy, European Economic Review, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and International Journal of Industrial Organization.
Afroditi Anagnosti is a researcher at the University of Piraeus. She holds a BSc in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development from the Agricultural University of Athens (2010), an MBA with specialisation in Food and Agriculture from the same institution (2013) and recently started her PhD at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus (2022).
Since 2012 she has been working as a technology transfer consultant, researcher and project manager in several research funded projects in the field of innovation, entrepreneurship and technology transfer.
Her research interests deal with innovation, intellectual property rights, technology transfer, academic inventions and entrepreneurial university.
Christina Logotheti is a postgraduate student at the Athens university of economics and business, department of economics. She has received her degree from the University of Piraeus, department of economics.
Georgios Spais is PhD candidate at the Department of Banking and Financial Management of University of Piraeus. He has a degree in Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences from National and Technical University of Athens, and a master’s degree in Mathematical Modeling in Finance from the National and Technical University of Athens.
He has worked as a mathematical teacher for high school students, as teaching assistant in Department of Banking and Financial Management of University of Piraeus, in the areas of Econometrics and Financial Management and as researcher in AIBS and University of Piraeus.
His research interests deal with, econometrics, credit ratings, mutual funds, asset pricing and research policy.
Arsenios-Georgios Prelorentzos is a PhD candidate at the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He holds an MSc in Economics, from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and a BSc in Economics, also from AUEB, with specialisation in Business Economics and Finance.
He has worked as a post-secondary educator and as a teaching assistant for courses in Economic Analysis and International Economics at NTUA. Concurrently, he has worked as a consultant for the public sector on various co-financed projects.
His research focuses on Economics, Econometrics & Finance. Arsenios has received a scholarship of excellence from NTUA.
He has several publications in refereed Journals such as Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Annals of Operations Research, Bulletin of Economic Research, and several papers are under review.
