PTA Reflections: “What My Culture Means to Me”

The theme for this year’s PTA Reflections program is “What My Culture Means to Me.”

Students are invited to express what culture means to them through one or more of the following arts categories:

Dance Choreography

Film Production

Literature

Music Composition

Photography

Visual Arts

Grade Divisions

Students will participate in the grade division that corresponds to their current grade:

Primary: Pre-K – Grade 2

Intermediate: Grades 3–5

Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or Section 504 of the ADA may enter in the Accessible Arts Division or in the grade division that most closely aligns with their functional abilities.

Submission Deadline: All completed entries must be submitted to the Fairmount front office by Thursday, November 5.

PTA has a national art contest called Reflections. Each year the theme changes, but the opportunity is the same for kids in every grade to enter an art project using an art form.  

The PTA Reflections program celebrates art and creativity within our students across many categories (art, music, dance, multi-media, etc).
