Joy Clobes has been a part of the planning and coordinating group from the very beginning. She is a master gardener and does various things with other master gardeners in Renville County. One of those things was a children's garden in the Renville County fairgrounds in Bird Island. She said from the beginning that she wanted to do a children's garden in Fairfax too. 2024 was the first year that she did all the paperwork and got funding to do one with Pam McColley from Franklin.
