For this assignment I had to find and ethically share different types of digital media, using Creative Commons for at least one item.
I retreived these imgaes from Maryland State ParkDirectory. I've been to all three of these parks. The top right picture is from Patapsco Valley State Park, the bottom one is from North Point State Park, and the picture of the horses on the beach is from Assateague State Park. I saved the images and uploaded them into the content blocks.
As I learned in this module, images from government websites are public domain and can be shared. The original sources can be found using the above hyperlinks.
This is an animation gif I created using Brush Ninja. It consists of 29 frames. I let anyone use and share this GIF as they choose (CC0).
An animation is created with still image frames that are put together in sequence to simulate motion.
I'm sharing an audio file of a thunderstorm. I love the sound of rain and often listen to thunderstorm podcasts to help me fall asleep.
I used Creative Commons to find this audio bit. I copied the embed code from here and was able to embed it to this page.

I embedded this video using the embed code from YouTube. This video was shared in the ENGL 102 course I took the first half of this semester. It is about how technology helps us stay connected with each other and despite always being connected we feel more alone than before all this technology was widely used.
According to Ted's policies + terms page, they encourage viewers to share their videos using the terms of their Creative Commons license, Attribution - NonCommercial - NonDerivatice.
Lessons Learned
I had so much fun creating this page. I learned how to save, share and embed media. I learned about the different file types for each type of digital media. I learned about Creative Commons and how to look for attribution and copyright information.
