Facto: Your Data, Your Control
Facto prioritizes local storage for sensitive data while using limited analytics for app improvement. Your personal vault remains fully private.
1. Local Storage Policy
Sensitive data—including question banks, quiz results, history timelines, and app configurations—is stored exclusively on your device using local storage buckets (Hive). We do not have access to this content, and it is never automatically uploaded to any external server.
No Server Access: We have no server access to your vault.
Local Control: No data is uploaded to any cloud server without your explicit export action, such as generating a PDF or CSV.
Separation: Analytics data is entirely separate from your personal vault contents.
2. Information Collection
Facto does not collect personal identification information. We do not require user accounts, email registration, or login procedures. No quiz content, calculated scores, or study material leaves your device unless you explicitly export, back up, or share it yourself using our CSV export feature
3. Advertising & Third-Party Services
Facto uses non-intrusive third-party advertising integrations such as Google AdMob to display advertisements during breaks, history cleanup, or quiz wrap-ups. These third-party networks may use device identifiers or generalized location coordinates according to their respective privacy frameworks.
4. Feedback & Contact
If you choose to submit feedback or a complaint through the app:
Email Submissions: Tapping the contact option opens your device’s default email client with a pre-filled message template. That message is only sent if you manually choose to dispatch it from your email app.
In-App Feedback Storage: When you voluntarily submit feedback or complaints, the message content and associated submission details are stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore) solely to help us review, address, and resolve your issue. We do not use this data for marketing or tracking purposes.

5. App Store Links
If you choose to use the “Rate Facto” functionality, you will be automatically redirected to your operating system’s native application store, which adheres to its own distinct privacy regulations.
