In 1991, I asked that this photograph include the tools that defined my work at the time, including my newest tool, the Macintosh computer. I remember this moment like it was last year, after recently reaching the realization that data could help education institutions become better stewards of their physical assets.
More than 35 years later, that same realization continues to guide my work in capital planning, asset and operations stewardship, and long-range facility stewardship while using the right data.
The tools have changed. The mission has not.
