These Terms of Use apply to your use of Face & Speech Check.
By using Face & Speech Check, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. App Purpose
Face & Speech Check is a personal tracking app that helps users perform short facial motion checks and speech checks.
The app may provide feedback such as facial motion activity, motion balance, speech timing, rhythm, phrase match, history, trends, personal reference, and report exports.
Face & Speech Check is for personal tracking only.
It is not a diagnosis, medical device, therapy tool, treatment tool, rehabilitation tool, or emergency tool.
2. Not Medical Advice
Face & Speech Check does not provide medical advice.
The app does not diagnose, treat, prevent, monitor, or cure any disease, injury, disorder, or medical condition.
You should not rely on the app as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or emergency care.
If you have health concerns, symptoms, pain, facial weakness, speech difficulty, neurological concerns, or any urgent condition, contact a qualified medical professional or emergency services.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use the app and how you interpret your results.
Face & Speech Check provides personal tracking feedback based on short guided checks. Results may vary due to lighting, camera position, device movement, face positioning, microphone quality, background noise, speech clarity, device performance, and other factors.
You agree not to use the app for unsafe, unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes.
4. Camera and Microphone Permissions
Face & Speech Check uses the camera for Motion Check features and face-position guidance.
Face & Speech Check uses the microphone for Speech Check and Speech Practice features.
You can control camera and microphone permissions through your device settings. Some app features may not work if permissions are disabled.
5. Local Data and Reports
Face & Speech Check is designed for on-device personal use.
Saved check results, history, trends, personal reference data, settings, and reports are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
If you export a PDF or CSV report, you are responsible for where you save or share that file.
6. Free and Pro Features
Face & Speech Check may offer free and paid features.
Free features may include limited Motion Checks, limited Speech Checks, current-result viewing, and unlimited Speech Practice.
Pro features may include unlimited Motion Checks, unlimited Speech Checks, History, Trends, personal reference, and PDF/CSV report export.
Feature availability may change over time.
7. Subscriptions
Face & Speech Check Pro subscriptions are handled through Apple’s App Store.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple Account settings before the renewal date.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.
Subscription pricing, billing period, renewal, cancellation, refund, and payment handling are managed by Apple and may vary by country or region.
We do not directly process your payment information.
8. Speech Practice
Speech Practice is free and unlimited.
Practice feedback is temporary only. It is not saved to history, does not build your personal reference, and is not included in trends or reports.
Speech Practice is not a medical or therapy feature.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the app for medical diagnosis or emergency decision-making
Misrepresent app results as professional medical findings
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or exploit the app
Use the app in a way that violates applicable laws
Interfere with the app’s normal operation
Use exported reports in a misleading or harmful way
10. No Guarantee of Accuracy
Face & Speech Check is provided as a personal tracking tool.
We do not guarantee that results will be complete, accurate, reliable, or suitable for any medical, clinical, legal, employment, insurance, or safety-related purpose.
You use the app at your own discretion and risk.
11. Intellectual Property
Face & Speech Check, including its design, text, features, interface, icons, and app content, is owned by the developer or licensed for use in the app.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app without permission.
12. App Changes
We may update, modify, add, remove, or discontinue app features at any time.
We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. If changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be changed.
Your continued use of the app after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Face & Speech Check and its developer are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
This includes, but is not limited to, decisions made based on app results, exported reports, subscription issues, data loss, device issues, or interpretation of personal tracking feedback.
14. Termination
You may stop using Face & Speech Check at any time.
We may suspend, limit, or discontinue access to the app or features if necessary to protect the app, comply with law, or address misuse.
15. Apple App Store Terms
Your use of Face & Speech Check may also be subject to Apple’s App Store terms, Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and any rules that apply to purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and account management through Apple.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s applicable terms for App Store transactions, Apple’s terms may control for those transactions.
