Face & Speech Check is designed for private, on-device personal tracking. The app helps users perform short facial motion checks and speech checks, review their own results, and optionally export local reports.
Face & Speech Check is for personal tracking only. It is not a diagnosis, medical device, therapy tool, or emergency tool.
Information We Collect
Face & Speech Check does not require an account.
The app may use the following information on your device to provide its features:
Camera frames for Motion Check face-position guidance and facial motion activity estimation
Microphone recordings for Speech Check and Speech Practice
Motion Check results, Speech Check results, history, trends, and personal reference data
App settings, such as voice guidance preferences
Subscription status provided by Apple through StoreKit
We do not collect your name, email address, password, account profile, or social profile inside the app.
Camera and Microphone Use
Face & Speech Check uses the camera to guide face positioning and estimate visible facial movement during short expression checks.
Face & Speech Check uses the microphone to record short speech tasks and provide speech timing, rhythm, and phrase-match feedback.
Camera frames and microphone recordings are used for app features. They are not uploaded to our server.
On-Device Processing
Face & Speech Check is designed to work on device.
We do not send your face data, camera frames, speech recordings, check results, history, trends, or personal reference data to our own server or to a third-party AI service.
Your results are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
Speech Practice
Speech Practice is free and unlimited. Practice feedback is temporary only.
Practice results are not saved to history, do not build your personal reference, and are not included in trends or reports.
Reports and Export
Pro users may export PDF or CSV reports from saved checks.
Reports are created locally on your device. You choose where to save or share exported files.
If you share a report with another app, person, or service, that sharing is controlled by you and by the privacy practices of the destination you choose.
Subscriptions and Payments
Face & Speech Check Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store.
We do not process your payment information directly. Apple may provide subscription status information to the app so that Pro features can be unlocked, restored, or managed.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
Data Storage and Deletion
Face & Speech Check stores saved check results, history, trends, personal reference data, and app settings locally on your device.
You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device. If you exported reports or shared files outside the app, you are responsible for deleting those files from wherever they were saved or shared.
Face Data and TrueDepth API
Face & Speech Check uses Apple’s TrueDepth camera and ARKit face tracking during Motion Check on supported devices.
The app uses this information only in real time on the user’s device to guide face positioning and measure facial movement. This may include temporary ARKit face-tracking information such as face position, face orientation, facial movement blendShape values, and camera metadata used for guide-box positioning.
Face & Speech Check does not use TrueDepth information to identify the user, verify identity, unlock accounts, recognize any person, create a face template, create a face embedding, or build a biometric profile.
Raw camera frames, depth images, face photos, face videos, face mesh geometry, facial landmarks, face templates, face embeddings, and biometric identifiers are not stored by the app, uploaded to the developer, or shared with any third party.
After local processing, the app stores only derived numerical Motion Check results, such as activity score, balance score, sample count, strongest signal name, timestamps, personal reference values, trends, and PDF/CSV summary data.
Saved Motion Check results are stored locally on the user’s device. Face data and TrueDepth information are not sold, used for advertising, or used for tracking.
Temporary TrueDepth/ARKit face-tracking information is used only during the active Motion Check session and is discarded after local processing or when the session ends. Derived Motion Check results remain locally on the user’s device until the user deletes the app or removes local app data. If the user exports a PDF or CSV report, the exported file is created locally and controlled by the user.
Third-Party Services
Face & Speech Check uses Apple system services for app distribution, subscriptions, payments, and device permissions.
The app may link to external pages such as our website, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use. These pages may open in your browser.
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use advertising tracking inside the app.
Children's Privacy
Face & Speech Check is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through support contact, please contact us so we can review and delete it if appropriate.
Personal Tracking Only
Face & Speech Check provides personal tracking feedback based on visible facial motion and short speech tasks.
The app does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease or medical condition. If you have health concerns, contact a qualified medical professional.
Apple Services and Purchases
If you purchase a subscription or make an in-app purchase, the transaction is handled by Apple through the App Store.
Apple may process purchase information according to Apple’s own policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
