Pocket Patterns

Pocket masks allow for the optional insertion of extra filtering material (coffee filter, batting) inside the mask.

Free, carefully explained pocket patterns with instructions can be found at CRAFT PASSION courtesy of the founder, Joanne Loh (she also provides patterns for unpocketed masks as well).

Please Note: Craft Passion is a different company (with different patterns!) from Sew It Online (below)!

Jan, founder of the Million Mask Challenge and instructor in this video (left), has her latest, most refined pocket mask patterns available upon providing an email address to Sew It Online (see links below the YouTube video on the left - click on "YouTube" in the lower right corner to travel there first).

If you don't want to provide an email address, an older but freely accessible pattern is available in the description for the YouTube video linked here. Please note that it LACKS A SCALE MEASUREMENT which throws the design and fit off.

Visit Craft Passion instead where Joanne Loh generously provides printable free patterns in four sizes for both pocketed and regular face masks!

BOTH these designers provide instructions for inserting wire so the top of the mask fits better around the nose.
