DIY Face Masks

So many patterns...So many methods...

Here you can find them organized all in one place!

Having attachment issues?

There are many ways to go!

Elastic can be hard to find during a pandemic! Alternatives for attaching face masks to one's head include fabric ties (the designer in the Florence Style video demonstrates an easy way to make them), t-shirt yarn (visit Joanne Loh's clever t-shirt yarn tutorial at Craft Passion), shoe laces (36 inch children's laces can be cut in half), elastic cord (works great in the pocket style pattern from Craft Passion), and paracord (must burn the ends to seal so they don't unravel). Also, consider adding pony beads (see clever video on the left) for ultimate adjustability.

My favorite attachment method is t-shirt yarn and pony beads (see video to the left) and I really like the patterns from Craft Passion designed by Joanne Loh!
