This was a three-year study on administrative capacity-building and EU Cohesion policy, funded by an EIB University Research Scholarship and undertaken by the European Policies Research Centre and wider School of Government & Public at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and EUROREG, University of Warsaw.
The main research questions of the three-year study (2014-17) were: what explains the differences in administrative capacity for implementing Cohesion policy across the EU? and how can effective administrative capacity for Cohesion policy be built and sustained?
